PEmicro's PROGRS08 Programming Software allows you to program/reprogram flash devices in-circuit, via a six pin debug connector on the target processor system. The programmer communicates with the processor's Background Debug Mode Module through one of PEmicro's hardware interfaces including the Multilink and Multilink FX debug probes, or Cyclone and Cyclone FX stand-alone programmers.
Supported Devices
PROGRS08 also includes the command-line version of the programmer software, CPROGRS08. This executable may be called from the application of your choice. Together they are perfect for development, production line programming, or field firmware upgrades. In addition, the programmer comes with PEmicro's entire library of RS08 programming algorithms.Compatible Hardware
PEmicro USB Multilink Universal FX is a high-speed, all-in-one development interface which allows a PC access to the Background Debug Mode (BDM). The FX's high-speed USB interface allows communications between your Windows machine and the standard debug connector on the target.Features

Licensing
The license that activates PROG now resides on a Multilink debug probe rather than in the software itself. The user who activates the software will choose a Multilink on which to permanently install the license. The allows that Multilink to work with PROG on any machine where a supported version of the software is installed. No license is required to use PROG software with Cyclone programmers, as the Cyclone includes PROG software.
