PVK40 is a feature rich development board for the PIC Flash Microcontrollers - PIC16F87x, PIC16F7x, PIC18Fxx in 40-pin packages.

The PIC training board includes all the circuitry necessary for in-depth study and experimention with most of the on-chip and external peripherals of PIC Microcontrollers. So this PIC board enables the user to become an expert in PIC microcontroller programming. The 40-pin PIC Microcontrollers contain a superset of the periperals of lower pin count PIC devices and the register mapping is compatible, too. That is why all knowledge and experience gained working with 40-pin microcontrollers can also be used for practically all other PIC? microcontrollers.

The starter kit also contains source code examples and a user manual to give you an in- depth understanding of embeddeded programming using the PIC microcontroller and a simple learning curve.
