The Pirani100 is a really flexible 7-way gateway for all your Bluetooth wireless connections. It can be configured and managed via the web, Telnet, serial terminal program, by using the AT command set from your own program or by using the simple Windows Management program supplied.
The Pirani100 can be set up to suit your exact requirements as it has a whole series of operating modes including:
- Server Mode - DCHP: The Pirani100 will act as a server on the network and the host PC will connect to it via TCP/IP
- Client Mode - DCHP: In this mode, when a Bluetooth device connects to the Pirani100, it will try to connect to the host PC via TCP/IP
- Vertex Mode: Enables RS485 multi-drop service
- Repeater Mode: The Pirani100 will act as a repeater to extend the range of your wireless network
- Serial Hub Mode: The Pirani100 will act as a hub for point to point communication between two Bluetooth devices or as an interface between 1 Bluetooth master and a series of slave devices
- RS232 Mode: The Pirani100 will communicate with Bluetooth devices such as the Pirani10 via RS232 cables.
- ADSL Mode: The Pirani100 supports LAN Access Protocol - LAP, so it can communicate directly to ADSL phone lines

- Can be linked together to give extra connections for bigger Bluetooth networks
- Working distance from 10m to 1000m with optional patch antenna - 150m with supplied antenna
- Data transfer rates up to 723Kbps at 150m
- Supports HTTP/FTP/Telnet/IP sharing/DHCP/PPP/RADIUS Authentication/SNMP.
- Supports Bluetooth profiles for Serial Port, LAN access, PAN and Dial-up Networking
- Includes COM Port Redirector software so you can treat IP Addresses as Virtual COM Ports
