Plug in USB to serial convertor that allows products with serial port interface to be connected to PCs without serial ports, such as newer laptops.
Features
The adapter appears as a Virtual Serial Port at the first free com port address e.g.Comm 1. This makes it very easy to use with existing serial port products.
Note: Using this convertor will not increase speed of serial port programmers. For example, Kanda AVRUSB programmer will be much faster than a serial port programmer that uses this convertor for USB because the AVRUSB is designed to use the capabilities of the USB bus more effectively.
