Development Kit for AVR Wireless Modules
These embedded modules are the smallest 2.4 GHz ISM band embedded transceiver modules that include a microcontroller, so they give an instant and easy to use wireless interface for your application.
The development kit includes all the hardware needed to setup a wireless system and includes code examples for sending and receiving data, using simple function calls. These code examples can easily be modified to include your own code, including timers, pin I/O and SPI communications. Development Kit Contents

The code examples show how to send and receive wireless messages between two modules, and how to modify the source code to include your own code. Each message can be up to 248 bytes. The bulk of the flash and EEPROM memories are available for user code.

As well as the two handheld testing boards, the kit includes a remote control unit. There is a code example to show this remote in use, and the source code can simply be modified to send your own messages when each button is pressed.

The modules supplied with the starter kit have an onboard chip antenna, which gives a wireless range of about 15m, but modules are available with connections (reverse SMA) for external antenna to increase the range. Higher power modules are also available.
