QuickUSB Santa Cruz Adapter

This nifty little adapter converts the Altera Santa Cruz headers (also called expansion or prototype headers) found on nearly every Altera Development Kit into a QuickUSB module socket.

This gives you a really simple way of developing a super fast USB interface for you FPGA design, both for hardware and software design.

The QuickUSB Santa Cruz Adapter comes with a CD containing example projects in Quartus II schematics, VHDL and Verilog. This makes the software development of your USB interface part of your FPGA design project.

What Does SOPC Builder Do?
SOPC Builder eliminates manual system integration tasks and allows you to focus on custom user logic design to differentiate your system. All versions of the Altera® Quartus II design software include the SOPC Builder system generation tool. SOPC Builder does the following:

• Integrates off-the-shelf intellectual property (IP) from Altera or Altera Megafunction Partners Program (AMPPSM) Partners, e.g. QUSB
• Enables you to create your own reusable custom components to include in your systems
• Generates HDL, building a system interconnect fabric optimized for the requirements of each system
• Outputs system testbench suites
