RoHS (Lead free) compliance

All Kanda products now comply with the EU directive 2002/95/EC.

This directive states that all electronic products sold in the European Union must not contain hazardess waste such as lead, mercury and other substances that are a danger to the environment.

All our production processes, including SMD and Wave Soldering, have been converted to lead free operation.

All our component purchases are now RoHS, lead free, compliant. We have also tested stocks of components, including plastic enclosures, with XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) to ensure compliance.
